Is there anything required to bring to the reception?
***Very Important:
Yes! It is REQUIRED that every person that is attending bring a valid Photo ID in order to be able to gain access onto the Naval Base. If you do not have your valid Photo ID, you will not be permitted to be on the Naval Base for our wedding reception.
Is there transportation being provided between wedding and hotels?
Yes, details regarding transportation will be shared when finalized.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal attire.
Men suggested attire:
Full suit with a jacket and tie.
Women suggested attire:
A floor-length gown or elegant midi-length dress.
Are kids welcome?
For our special day, we've decided to keep our wedding adults only, so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening with us.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors
Our wedding is a combination of both. Our wedding ceremony is in St. Lucy's Church with our reception being the Naval Base which has both an indoor and outside patio area.
Seating will be held in the Grand Ballroom with the option to enjoy the Jamestown Bridge overlooking the water.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?
Our ceremony is at 2:00 pm at Saint Lucy's Church. Our reception starts at 5:00 at the Newport Naval Officers Club.
What weather should I expect?
The weather in Newport, Rhode Island during the month of June ranges from a high of 72 degrees and a low of 59 degrees. With having our reception on the Naval Base, please keep in mind that we will be on the water and it will be slightly cooler. We hope the rain stays away for our special weekend with you all!
Will there be an open bar?
yes and no.
Are you registered?
Yes, we are registered at Crate and Barrel and Target. Please see the registry page of our wedding website for more infomation.
Will there be a post reception gathering?
Yes, This will be located at the Tickets Sports bar which is walking distance from the Newport Beach Hotel and Suites. Newport Beach Hotel and Suites is also the pickup and drop off location for transportation from the reception.
How Do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?
To RSVP return the enclosed RSVP card or click the RSVP tab and type the names listed on your envelope. Kindly RSVP and book your hotel rooms as soon as possible to avoid high rates and availability of rooms from our designated room blocks.

Can I come just for the Reception?
Yes, you are welcome to just attend the reception. However, we would strongly encourage you to come to the ceremony to witness the very first moments of our life as a married couple.
What happens between The Ceremony and Reception
There will be roughly over an hour break between our ceremony and reception. This allows our guests time to relax and take in all that Newport, Rhode Island has to offer.
